Cat Ba Island

Last Sunday I went on a day trip with my class to Cat Ba Island, which is a 45 minute boat trip from Hai Phong. They came to pick me up at 6:00am (!!) and we spent the whole day there until the last boat left at 4:30pm. They had arranged everything and wouldn't let me pay a penny :-) We got picked up by a bloke and his minibus (there were 16 of us!) at Cat Ba quay and driven to various beaches and lookout points where you could get the best views of the huge karsts rising out of the water.
